SwipeRx is proud to announce the recent publication of our pharmacy access results published in peer-reviewed publication PLOS One. This publication validates the impact of our technology-driven approach to strengthening pharmaceutical supply chains in Southeast Asia. Expanding access to self-care diagnostics is key to achieving universal health coverage and other public health goals. This peer reviewed publication describes how SwipeRx’s digital network of 16,000+ pharmacy professionals in Vietnam successfully:
📢 Raised pharmacists’ awareness about the differences between quality-assured COVID-19 self-tests and other, lower-quality tests available on the market.
📊 Increased pharmacy access to quality assured self-tests for COVIDf-19–with 92% of SwipeRx-trained pharmacists successfully motivated to stock locally approved quality assured self-test brands, compared to only 29% of untrained pharmacists.
💡By combining digital with targeted in-pharmacy engagement techniques, SwipeRx demonstrated the potential for technology to facilitate rapid introduction of and scale access to new self-care products.
